LONDON (Dow Jones)--A London court has recently allowed the resumption of a long-running legal battle waged by a wife of the man who later became King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, according to documents seen by Dow Jones Newswires... In recent years, the private affairs of the Saudi royal family have regularly made headlines. In October, a Saudi prince was found guilty in a London court over the killing of his servant... On April 15, a court in London upheld the resumption of a multi-million pound claim by Janan Harb, a wife of the late King Fahd, against his heir Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Fahd Bin Abdulaziz, to restart the case, according to the documents. Harb, born a Palestinian Christian, says she married the future ruler in 1968 before separating a few years later without divorcing. She says that the monarch's son Prince Abdul Aziz had agreed to give her GBP12 million and two London flats in 2003 but she decided to sue the king for maintenance in 2004 after the payment was not forthcoming...."
