Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, is a name that sounds good to Western ears to which it became the priviliged, read, unique source of information. It has nothing to do with the respectable International League for Human Rights. This is actually an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and is led by Islamist militants, some of which have been previously convicted of violent activism, especially its founder and first president, Mr. Riyadh Al-Maleh. The SOHR was established  in the late 80s in London under the guidance and caring of Anglo-Saxon intelligence agencies & is almost totally funded by the Saudis & Qataris.."
