"I would step down and make sure whoever comes behind me has the ability to change the status quo that we're seeing," the king said of Syria's president. The king added that the Syrian leader should initiate political dialogue, the BBC said on its website Monday.
"If Bashar (Assad) has the interest of his country, he would step down, but he would also create an ability to reach out and start a new phase of Syrian political life," Abdullah said...."

Why does'nt Playstation Abdallah step down? His family isn't even from Jordan but from Hijaz. He is hated by the Jordanian tribes, unlike his father. As to the Palestinians, the majority in his country, Abdullah carries little legitimacy if any at all. Being educated in the West, let him give the example of stepping down!

If you watch the full interview, he actually wasn't as hostile as al-Jazeera and MSM made him out to be. The interviewer asked him 10 times before he came up with that weak answer, but he made it clear that he thinks that removing Bashar al-Asad would solve nothing.
