Bla bla, bla bla bla, ... Bla bla... Bla

"Netanyahu ... Abbas willing to meet Mr Netanyahu ... borders that existed in 1967... The US has said it will use its veto...."I call on the PA chair to open direct negotiations in New York, that will continue in Jerusalem and Ramallah."... On his way to New York, Mr Abbas said he was under "tremendous pressure" ...Hillary Clinton said there was still time to reach one. But she said the "only way to a two-state solution... is through negotiations....European Union, the UN, the US and Russia - the Quartet of Middle East mediators - are reported to be working on a framework ... land swaps while the Palestinians would agree to the mention of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people...Clinton met Turkish Davutoglu in New York and made it clear to him that this was not the time for more tension and volatility in the region....flotilla..."

Israel’s threatened Anschluss of the West Bank

The Anschluss was the occupation and annexation of Austria into the German Third Reich on 12th March 1938, eight months before Kristallnacht, the terrible pogrom that prefaced the Holocaust and the start of WW2 a year later in which tens of millions, including thousands of American soldiers, died in Europe and around the world.

Now the Israeli government is threatening to annex the West Bank of the Jordan in which live 3.5 million Palestinians, as retribution if they apply this week to the United Nations for membership. Such an act of armed, political savagery by the Israeli government of Binyamin Netanyahu could well bring about the start of WW3.

In WW2 there were no nuclear weapons, with the exception of the two atomic bombs dropped on the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945, that finally ended that war. Now, in 2011, Israel has a secret nuclear weapons arsenal that is estimated to hold up to 400 nuclear warheads – weapons of mass destruction that have never been declared to, or inspected by, the IAEA.

The U N Security Council ignores this appalling reality at its peril.

why does the USA always side with Israel regardless of how they behave towards the Palistinian people. The score in terms of numbers dead is heavily in favour of Israel, doesn't this make them the bad guys?

Israel did not threaten to annex the West Bank. Certain politicians threatened to annex the settlement blocs (where about half of the West Bank settlers live) which are on the Israeli side of the barrier and are within the previously agreed 4-5% land swap - big cities such as Maaleh Adumim, Modiin Illit, Beitar, Givat Zeev etc which are adjacent to the Green Line and are really suburbs of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The logic being that if the Palestinians are going for unilateralism regarding the 1967 borders, then so is Israel regarding the land swaps. None of the Palestinians or anyone else believe that these places, populated by hundreds of thousands of non-ideological Israelis, with no Palestinian population and already physically and administratively connected to Green Line Israel, will be included in a Palestinian state. So get your facts right.

Whats this blog all about, a one sided affair of dispair?

Dudes, the PA has no claim on any part of lands owned by Israel & therefore by God, which owns Jerusalem himself since it's his own Holy City, according to the Scriptures.
Israel isn't even occupying 50% of the land given to Abraham, Isac & Jacob by God himself.
So how the Palestinians think there entitled to any part of the rightful land Israel owns, is a complete laugh and joke. There not entitled to any lands of Israel or Gods, and for them to think they are is a complete joke and slap in the face of God himself.

It's funny but ask yourselves this commen sense question: why is it down through history, that the Palestinians were never around or even concerned about the country of Israel?
"Not only until 1948 or there abouts afterward, when Israel took their land back and became a State, of which they were and have been all along through history & not that they needed to be by the UN; thats when the chatter and false claims were aired by the Palestinians as if they should have some place in Israels & Gods land."

They actually should go and seek some remeady from Irac or Iran or some other Muslim country for some land out in the deseret to call their own, rather than trying to weasle in on Israels rightful God given land!

Ofcourse the anexation is totally right since it's Israels land to begin with!
why do you people seem to think Israel is wrong by taking control of their own land?

And, why do we always take the side of Israel?
Because it's the right side to take, theres no question about that.
What, do you think we would side with radical muslim countries and terrorist sponsered groups? I think not.

In fact, the truth is, there are many thousands who would move to Israel from the USA to help them fight and win any conflict against them or their land, as would I to the end.

Those are the facts, whether you like them or not. No one is entitled to Israels land but them.

Peace treaties?
Thats all well & good, but peace through superior strength & firepower is also a good deterant.

God says in His Holy Word, they all shall call for peace and peace, but there will be no peace until the Prince of Peace returns back to this earth to set up his Kingdom in that Land of Israel and Jerusalem which is the City of Peace.

Tresspassers, terrorist grouops or heads of other states will never control or pressure Israel to do or make any agreements against what God has already ordained and given to Israel.

The Israeli prime minister described Obama's pledge to block the Palestinian move at the UN security council as a "badge of honour"

Much like Bush’s quote that “Ariel Sharon is a man of peace”

When these clowns say something, what they mean is the exact opposite:

The oppressor’s badge of honour is really a badge of shame, for fair-minded people

The oppressor’s roadmap to peace has really been a roadmap to nowhere for the oppressed

The oppressor’s man of peace was in fact a man of war to the oppressed

Enough double talk and double standards already....step aside if you haven’t got the guts to stand-up for the oppressed and stand up to the oppressor.

Shame on you

Jim, you have it all wrong. The UK gave you your land after WWII so that you as a race could live in peace after the 'holocaust'.
It was the UK that helped you on your feet and it is the US that supplies you with mass amounts of monies so that you wage an illegal war on a population that is not your own. In the Balkans, it was called Ethnic Cleansing.....what do you call what you are doing to the Palestinians. Please be specific so I can look it up in a dictionary.
You speak of YWHW' Land, but the Palestinians have always been there since time immortal and if you have done your history, have lived in relative peace for centuries with 'Israeli's. I am thankful to have both Israeli and Palestinian friends who both can see the bigger picture and who can dialog day-to-day without politics. The problem of the Middle East is people like you and those on the Muslim side, who do not want to find peace. For this there will always be a problem there. No one wants to lose a son, father, mother to war. Maybe when you do, you may find that in your heart, peace is best for all people, Israeli, Palestinian and non.

The UK didn't "give" anybody anything after the holocaust. It that stage they were interning holocaust survivors in Cyprus. The Balfour Declaration is from 1917. The League of Nations Mandate creating a National Home for the Jews in Palestine is from 1922. The Peel Commission partition plan (2 state solution!) is from the 1930s. All this time the Israelis (Palestinian Jews) were fighting the British for their reneging on the National Home provisions which by this time meant sending the would-be immigrants back to the extermination camps. So the world community's recognition of the aspirations of the Zionist movement had nothing to do with the holocaust. As far as the British were concerned, it was the exact opposite.
