"It is time for US assistance to truly advance our interests, rather than benefit the likes of Hezbollah, Hamas, and their partners..."

Absolutely. Punish them. Punish the whole country. Punish the Sunni prime minister. Collective punishment of everyone is the only answer. Alienate the whole Lebanese regime, force the whole democratically-elected coalition firmly into the pockets of Hezbollah and teach Hezbollah that its recent accommodation with democratic behavior will gain it nothing. Push Hezbollah back into military action. The world is a zero-sum world; those we have opposed must always be opposed even when they play by our own rules. Teach the whole world that we will never bend, never accommodate, never listen. Destabilize Lebanon and then send in the Marines, with Lleana as pointwoman.
