... meanwhile, Obama expected to speak at AIPAC conference

"President Obama is expected to address the giant pro-Israel group AIPAC's annual policy conference next Sunday, at a moment of uncertainty over America's role in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict after its policy of two years appears to have stalled out. Neither the White House nor AIPAC would confirm his appearance, but two source familiar with the plan said he's expected to address the group the day before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appears, and amid a week of intense focus on the "Arab Spring" sweeping the Middle East and deeply unsettling many Israelis and their American allies.  Obama is not expected to announce a new push on the dormant peace process, something aides had contemplated earlier this year. The appearance at AIPAC, however, signals that he plans in some way to address America's stance toward Israel and the Palestinians, and what way forward America sees as Hamas moves toward integration into a united Palestinian leadership."

And will he say? More platitudes and wishful thinking?
