Ali Abdallah Saleh agrees to step down ...

"Ali Abdullah Saleh has agreed to step down under an agreement reached between his ruling party and the Persian Gulf bloc of nations, his spokesman told Reuters.
"The ruling party informed the foreign ministers of the [Gulf Cooperation Council] GCC of their acceptance of the Gulf initiative in full," the Yemeni ruling party spokesman Tariq Shami told Reuters Saturday.
Under the GCC-proposed plan, Saleh will turn over power to his vice president a month after an official agreement is signed with opposition forces, and will be granted immunity from prosecution, Reuters reported.
The United States tentatively welcomed the development..."

It's going to be interesting to see if the new government is as open to US cruise missiles being fired in Yemen. Something tells me that free-for-all is going to end.
