An Nahar: "Azmi Mikati heard threatening innuendos 'against the family's interests worldwide' ..... in Washington..."

"... France & Mikati"
... It has been said that the nephew of PM designate Najib Mikati, Azmi, who is a member of the 'principals' in the Prime Minister's team, visited the Nation's capital on what has been described as an 'exploratory trip' to hear & be heard. The schedule of the trip remains a prerogative of the PM's office, but the fact that certain quarters in Foggy Bottom (and in tandem with known recently evicted Lebanese circles) made sure to put sticks in the wheels. Today, An Nahar goes a step forward and says that Azmi Mikati heard some threatening innuendos against the PM designate against the 'family's interests worldwide' should Najib Mikati succeed in forming his government.
The question remains: Who, trickled this An Nahar, whether this happened or not? And should we assume that Assistant Secretary of State Feltman is still in the Agit-prop business, or has started to use mob-like tactics with foreign leaders? OR, and that is very likely, An Nahar's Washington sources, have once again resorted to tabloidery, especially now that Mikati's nomination as Lebanon's chief executive, was received with an overwhelming sense of relief?!
