أصدرت المحكمة الجزئية بجدة حكمًا بالسجن سنة وشهرين والجلد 80 جلدة على مقيم قام بالدخول إلى مطعم وأكل «مؤخرة دجاجة» في غفلة من صاحب المطعم وكانت هيئة التحقيق والإدعاء العام قد وجهت للمقيم تهمة السرقة وأكل الدجاجة بغير وجه حق حيث تم القبض عليه من أصحاب المطعم وحول إلى هيئة التحقيق والدعاء العام والتي بدورها وجهت إليه قضية السرقة وتم الحكم عليه بسجنه سنة وشهرين وثمانين جلدة من قبل ناظر القضية وتحويله سجن بريمان بجدة.
