"The defense attorney of a U.S. citizen dismissed charges that his client had channeled funds to Hezbollah fighters. James McLoughlin said during a re-sentencing hearing that the money his client Mohammed Hammoud, a native from Lebanon, sent overseas was not meant for terrorism.
Hammoud, who is serving an 155-year term prison, is accused of running a cell in Charlotte, North California, that raised funds for Hezbollah.....
