A senior diplomat at the Embassy of Lebanon has been working the phones quite frenziedly. The diplomat has been peddling what he/she is atributing to "inside the beltway sources" and the Lebanese contacts' take on unfolding events. Basically, the diplomat is scaring the bejesus out of Washingtoninan-Lebanese with clear March14 proponency: "...A 'coup' is definitely in the offing ... Life is gonna become hard for many soon-to-be March14 exiles ... Michel Aoun will finally move to Baabda..." the diplomat concludes usually in his/her affected French accent:"Sauve Qui Peut..."

If our "diplomats" & "politicians" spend more time caring about the Lebanese people, their well-being & life, everybody will be happier.
....besides, what can a President of the Republic do anymore in Lebanon???
If some do not know the new Constitution yet, they'd better go back to their history readings.
