Siniora calls for unity government, without veto power

"We now have an ... experiment ... that does not fit with this method of what is called democratic practice," Siniora told Reuters in an interview at the Grand Serail governmental palace."We've tried it and I just think this wasn't a successful experiment," he said"... Whoever wins, has to take responsibility through a unity government but without veto power." Asked if that was the case even if the anti-Syrian coalition, supported by the United States and Saudi Arabia, loses, Siniora said: "Yes.""I don't have a crystal ball. But I can assure you that the regional circumstances do not favour (security incidents). There are no benefits to any group for that," Siniora said.
