Barack Obama links Israel peace plan to 1967 borders deal... minus the 'right of return'..

If I were you, I would not hold my breath ... Having been privy to the corridors deliberations at this Beirut Arab League Summit, I do remember that President Lahoud was the only head of state who held everything up until the "communique" included the 'right of return' ... I do remember how the Saudis (and others) tried VERY HARD to wrestle him into accepting a format that included none ....The Sunday Times, here
"...Obama intends to throw his support behind a 2002 Saudi peace initiative endorsed by the Arab League and backed by Tzipi Livni, the Israeli foreign minister and leader of the ruling Kadima party. ...The proposal gives Israel an effective veto on the return of Arab refugees expelled in 1948 while requiring it to restore the Golan Heights to Syria and allow the Palestinians to establish a state capital in east Jerusalem..."

Basically the TABA accord as far as the Palestinians are concerned?

And the TABA agreement is pretty well the GENEVA plan?
