Agreement has been reached on this issue. They are willing to respond positively because they, too, are facing a critical situation..."

Thats funny. I was talking about the same issue today, about an hour ago just outside. A friend had the NY times and quoted bush saying "give me 7 million, trust me" ahha. Anyways I was telling him that the chances are high that he would be leaving a clear and beneficial path for McCain, possibly for self interest, or for passing around the republican torch. In any case, it's good to know that I was going in the right direction with my argument.
