Samir desperately wants an arab force, 5000 soldiers to be deployed in Beirut. I guess he wasn't kidding about that particular point, he repeated it yesterday. His argument was that the army is being spread too thin all over the place. I don't know how this state of denial will last in Maarab and Bekfayya but it seems pretty acute.
I'm curious though about the realignment that many MPs will be considering, especially Safadi.
