Confidential Documents: Bush, Rice & Abrams and Dahlan, sought Palestinian civil war...

David Rose writes in VanityFair, here
"....Vanity Fair has obtained confidential documents, since corroborated by sources in the U.S. and Palestine, which lay bare a covert initiative, approved by Bush and implemented by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Deputy National Security Adviser Elliott Abrams, to provoke a Palestinian civil war. The plan was for forces led by Dahlan, and armed with new weapons supplied at America’s behest, to give Fatah the muscle it needed to remove the democratically elected Hamas-led government from power. (The State Department declined to comment.)"
I believe it's the best time to revisit Lamb's "The Welch Club", for the consistency and perseverance of the culprits, their unmistakable MO and the similitude in aims!
And here, the original Al Majd story in Arabic.
Condoleezza Rice and George W. Bush

Maybe we should compile a top 10 list of things Americans journalists tell us that we didn't know already.

Ok the evidence is nice but....

Nevertheless, how you have the time and resources to find all these articles is commendable.

A very wise policy indeed, to keep its mouth shut! What could they really say? Once again, we miscalculated based on false information supplied by stooges on our payroll? That we never learn from past mistakes?
One must really admire the consistency in foolishness in this Administration. Or is it the fact that some rogue elements in the Administration have an agenda of their own and have deliberately dragged the country into needless, useless, and extremely costly wars?
Will someone stand up and make this people accountable for their misrepresentations and miscalculations?

SY Hersh is the "spoon-fed syrian stooge" (as per Mustafa Alloush, the Lebanese MP, thinker, strategist and ... philosopher)
Frank Lamb is a lunatic (as per stink tanks of M14) and
Vanity fair "i have nothing else to say" (as per eramzi, a reader)

What ramzi failed (I donno did you?) to see in the piece in Vanity Fair is the fact that it portrays the Neocons (Wurmser + Bolton) in VERY good light (even Abrams sounded like he was "compelled") and sources appera to be mostly from the Israeli Intell. Services.

So no, the piece is very revealing but in that diabolic way ...
