(US source implied that Feltman "might have tricked Gemayel" specifically to have this M14 damning scenario unfold. Then, the US will tell M14 (most notably the Christians in it) that the "dice were played"...)
Constant: In a two government scenario, opposition will "grab" (access to) 16 ministries, while the rest remains in the hands of the ruling clique. A devastatingly bad scenario.
Constant: Only the LAF can guarantee access to ALL ministries, if it chooses so.
Constant: Michel Suleiman said that he will submit his resignation to the "two LEGITIMATE governments"should we face this scenario.
Solution: (pending) ALMOST ALL Christians will support it- ALL Shia's will support it- Grudgingly, most Sunnis will support it (no way back now): An interim government headed by Michel Suleiman as Prime Minister, supported (varying degrees) by regional & great powers!
I forgot to mention that during his last trip to Washington, Minister of Defense Elias "Ludicrous" Murr proposed to his hosts an unusual amendment of the Constitution, to allow the election of a non-Maronite to the country's highest job under the guise of the ..., ... "War on Terror"!

Confirmation of this very plausible scenario comes from L'Orient-Le Jour, whose resident mummy/editorialist,Emile Khoury , clearly agrees that things are going very badly for M14.
That guy must be over 90 now. (I just love the way the entire lamentation is presented as emanating from an unnamed holy man.)

Aside from that, I just read something very interesting. Check out Booman on Gonzales's testimony. It looks likely that very soon details of a large US domestic spying program will surface whose extent violated the few restrictions that were put in the Patriot Act in October of 01. The pieces are falling into place there: that's why the Bushies couldn't allow judicial oversight even by rubber-stamp-"judges" and this is why ex-NSA director Bobby Inman said in early 2006 that Hayden should be court-martialed.
