The decision has not been made,” French Embassy spokesperson Anne Charlotte Dommartin told The Daily Star.
Quoting French sources, pan-Arab daily Al-Hayat reported Thursday that an agreement to send missiles to the army, hammered out under the government of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, had been put on ice while Paris monitors the work of the new Hezbollah-dominated Cabinet of Prime Minister Najib Mikati. ..."
