This moron should read the Constitution. The last I heard it still guarantees freedom of religion, thought, and expression. Furthermore, there is a very large and potent jurisprudence indicating that discrimination is unconstitutional.
Tancredo's statements are in line with previous ones and are as islamophobic as they can get. He is in good company with the likes of Daniel Pipes, Rod Parsley, and others.
