In the WaPo, here
"...The majority also named to the cabinet Ibrahim Shamseddine, a Shiite not allied with Hezbollah or Amal, another Shiite party. Siniora's supporters said Shamseddine would undermine Hezbollah's claim to be the exclusive representative of Lebanon's Shiites..."
Once again, those 'specialists' get it wrong. Shamseddine can never lay the foundation that there are 'other' shiites than Hezbollah or even Amal. His father, a respected and well read cleric, was the total opposite of his son. The father must be spinning in his grave. Actually, most leaders in Lebanon have scions who are really a pale image of what their fathers were (Chamoun, Jumblat, Hariri, Shamseddine, etc and the list goes on and on)
